Software FPGA Verification Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Software FPGA Verification Engineer to enhance performance in software regression testing. The engineer will be required to work on sophisticated applications and benchmarks, and collaborate with multiple teams, ensuring high-level performance in state-of-the-art hardware and software environments.

This position requires expertise suitable for a Level - Mid-Career professional. Candidates should have a solid foundation in software engineering with relevant experience in industry-related applications.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with software, DevOps, and verification teams to achieve common goals.
• Analyze and debug hardware and software regression test case failures.
• Create test cases to mitigate potential failures in software regression suites.
• Utilize a data-driven approach for optimization efforts.
• Investigate and resolve existing issues, discovering more efficient solutions.
• Build strong technical relationships across teams.

Requirements

We expect candidates to meet the following requirements:

• Strong background in RTL design using Verilog or VHDL.
• Experience with FPGA software tools and familiarity with the EDA flow.
• Solid understanding of digital design and timing analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and basic knowledge of AI agents.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and solve problems.

Education Requirements

A Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant equivalent, is required alongside experience handling complex FPGA issues.
