Role Summary

The Software Engineer Intern will be part of the Multimarket Business Group at Marvell, working on a variety of technologies and products including System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. The role focuses on developing functional models and embedded software programs to validate SoC architectures, as well as improving test automation.

Experience Level

Internship, must be currently pursuing a master's degree.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop functional models to simulate SoC architectures.
• Write embedded software to test and validate models.
• Contribute to improving test automation infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers to debug and refine models and test cases.
• Document work clearly for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Must-have skills:

• Currently pursuing a master degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering from a university in Spain.
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with embedded systems concepts.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Understanding of ARM architecture basics.
• Exposure to processor simulation tools (e.g., SystemC, Gem5).
• Interest in compiler concepts.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols.
• Familiarity with Python for scripting or automation.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering from a university in Spain.
