Role Summary

The SoC Functional Validation Engineer will focus on conducting thorough functional validation of integrated System-on-Chips (SoCs). Responsibilities will include validating IP integration and system-level features to ensure quality and functionality.

Experience Level

Entry-level position requiring a bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, with the intent of candidates who have recently graduated or have limited professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional validation for integrated SoCs with a focus on IP block integration and systems interactions.
  • Develop and implement SoC validation methodologies, test plans, and execution strategies.
  • Utilize a variety of debugging techniques and tools for silicon debug to troubleshoot system-level failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate design changes and update validation plans accordingly.
  • Produce comprehensive validation reports that effectively communicate findings and quality assessments to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Permanent and unrestricted right to work in Mexico.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and programming experience in Python and C or C+.
  • Knowledge of SoC/PC architecture and familiarity with test content development.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Relevant industry experience, internships, and academic projects can also fulfill job qualifications.
