Silicon Hardware Engineering Intern

Role Overview

This internship provides an opportunity to engage with Silicon Hardware Engineering at Intel, where you will design, build, and test technology that is essential for Intel's processors and platforms. You will work across diverse areas such as Silicon Architecture, Circuit Design, and Hardware Validation, applying your knowledge towards creating impactful solutions.

Experience Level

This is an entry-level internship position, ideal for candidates who are currently pursuing a Master's degree or Ph.D. in related fields such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.

Primary Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this internship include:

• Contributing to Silicon Hardware Engineering projects with a focus on design and testing.
• Engaging in debugging hardware architecture.
• Conducting data analysis and performance evaluation.
• Collaborating with teams across various engineering disciplines.
• Utilizing programming and scripting languages effectively (e.g., C/C++, Python).
• Gaining exposure to hardware design concepts including RTL and Verilog.

Qualifications

To be considered for this internship, candidates should have:

• Enrollment in a Master’s or Ph.D. program in relevant STEM fields.
• A minimum of 3 months of educational or industry experience in a related role.
• A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
