Silicon Design Verification Engineer Intern

Role Summary

This internship opportunity focuses on enhancing AMD's technology innovation through hands-on experience in silicon design verification. The intern will collaborate with experienced professionals, contributing to key projects within the team.

Experience Level

This position is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS) and looking for practical experience in design verification.

Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for:

• Participating in IP development aligned with architectural specifications, focusing on reusability across product lines.
• Engaging in IP verification based on defined design specifications.
• Addressing and solving complex design challenges.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in Verilog RTL design.
• Familiarity with UVM verification methodology.
• Understanding of the digital design flow in SoC.
• Strong communication skills in English for presentations and documentation.
• Pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Education Requirements

Completion of an MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required.
