Silicon Design Engineer (ASIC/IP/SOC Design Verification)

Role Overview

The Silicon Design Engineer role at Advanced Micro Devices involves working on ASIC, IP, and SOC design verification. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to enhance pre-silicon verification quality and reduce product time to market for Southbridge systems.
• Provide technical leadership to the DV team for new Southbridge projects.
• Independently execute various DV tasks and guide the DV team technically.
• Engage in the porting and creation of the DV environment for new designs, including developing block and chip level test plans, conducting coverage analysis, and performing regression cleanup.

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, as well as broad technical knowledge that supports integrative thinking. They must demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems and make critical decisions in technical areas.

Education Requirements

A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in the same fields is acceptable if accompanied by substantial independent experience in digital ASIC/SOC or IP/SOC design verification.
