Role Summary
As a Silicon Design Engineer, you will collaborate with Design Verification and RTL Teams to ensure the validation of design behaviors and contribute to convergence efforts.
Experience Level
This position requires a foundational interest in modern, complex processor architecture along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Researching and verifying software components using knowledge of digital design theory.
- Performing pre-silicon verification of next-generation high-performance microprocessor designs and related IPs.
- Contributing qualitatively to reach milestone metrics.
- Debugging directed and random stimuli to identify bugs in the microprocessor design and verifying functionality against specifications.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- A strong sense of individual responsibility and a desire for personal achievements.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Documented knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
- Modern computer architecture, including processor pipeline and memory hierarchy.
- C++ programming for hardware modeling or testbench development.
- Logic design in HDL (e.g., Verilog or VHDL).
- Hardware verification methodologies and techniques (simulation, debug, coverage, etc.).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
