Role Summary

This role focuses on Control Fabric (CF) IP, which serves as the backbone of AMD SOCs. The role involves designing and delivering advanced technologies such as network-on-chip (NoC), chiplet interconnect, and more. The position is part of the China CF IP team, which is integral to the global CF team.

Experience Level

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and hardware engineers to understand new features for verification.
• Build comprehensive test plan documentation that accounts for interactions with other hardware and software components.
• Estimate time required to write new feature tests and make necessary changes to the test environment.
• Construct directed and random verification tests.
• Debug test failures to identify root causes and work with RTL engineers to resolve design defects.
• Review functional and code coverage metrics, adding or modifying tests as necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Excellent knowledge of design verification methodologies, including System Verilog/UVM/Formal.
• Experience with simulation model creation and driving IP DV signoff.
• Experience in coordinating IP/SOC or cross-IP problem-solving.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
