Silicon Design Engineer

Role Summary

The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the design of new and existing features for AMD’s IP, including System reset and boot, clocking, and advanced power management.

Responsibilities

• Understand the ASIC design/verification flow to deliver high quality IP to SoCs and meet various metrics.
• Work with team members using design techniques in complex logic design phases including specification, microarchitecture definition, HDL coding, simulation debugging, etc.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers in different timezones.

Education Requirements

• Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred or Bachelor’s Degree with solid work experience.
