Role Overview

The Silicon Design Engineer 2 will join the Verification Methodology and Technology (VMT) team and work closely with global teams on integration methodologies for System on Chip (SoC) and Intellectual Property (IP) deliverables to ensure seamless integration.

Experience Level

This position is tailored for individuals who are at a mid-career stage, possessing expertise in digital design and verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement SoC integration methodologies in hardware design verification.
• Utilize and troubleshoot Verilog, System Verilog and VHDL for design processes.
• Employ debugging tools such as VCS and Verdi for problem resolution.
• Develop UVM-based random environments.
• Work with industry-standard tools for design verification and verification IPs.
• Write and optimize code in scripting languages such as C/C++, Perl, Python, Ruby, and Tcl.
• Contribute to SoC infrastructure and verification methodologies.

Qualifications

The candidate must have a strong background in processor architecture and digital verification along with proficiency in relevant programming and scripting languages.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
