Role Overview
The Senior Verification Engineer - Hardware will play a crucial role in verifying complex IPs and subsystems for NVIDIA's next-generation automotive chips and systems. You’ll take ownership of the verification process, working on state-of-the-art verification infrastructures and forgoing cutting-edge technologies including high-performance CPUs and memory subsystems.
Experience Level
This position is ideal for candidates with over 4 years of experience in verification closure, especially in complex units, subsystems, or SOC levels.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
- Creating advanced UVM based verification test benches and methodologies.
- Architecting testbenches and developing verification environments.
- Defining and implementing test plans along with functional coverage.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as architects, designers, and post-silicon teams.
- Building efficient reusable models and checkers to support the verification process.
Required Skills and Expertise
The ideal candidate will possess skills in at least a few of the following areas:
- CPU and Memory controller verification.
- Interconnect and High-Speed IO verification (e.g., UFS/PCIe).
- Bus protocols (e.g., AXI/APB).
- System functions including safety and security implementations.
- Experience in verification methodologies like UVM/VMM.
- Familiarity with industry-standard simulation and debug tools.
Education Requirements
Applicants must hold a B.Tech or M.Tech in a relevant field.
