Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading physical design projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate physical design with logic and circuit design.
- Utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologies to conduct physical verification, DRC/LVS checks, and timing analysis.
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance on best practices in physical design.
- Debugging and resolving physical design issues to meet performance, area, and power requirements.
Key Requirements
To qualify for this position, you need:
- Experience with ASIC physical design flow, including placement and routing tools.
- Strong understanding of EDA tools and methodologies used for physical design and verification.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Tcl, Python) for automation and tool integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
