Senior Silicon Design Engineer

Role Summary

The role involves working as a senior silicon design engineer with a focus on verification engineering. You will be responsible for developing tests and maintaining verification environments to ensure top-quality product delivery in a collaborative team setting.

Experience Level

This position is suitable for candidates at a mid-career level, who possess strong skills and knowledge in silicon design and verification processes.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop and maintain tests for functional and performance verification at the core level.
• Build testbench components to support next-generation intellectual property (IP).
• Maintain or improve existing test libraries to aid IP-level testing.
• Create hardware emulation builds to verify the functional performance of IP.
• Enhance the current hardware emulation environment to optimize runtime performance and debugging capabilities.
• Provide technical support to other teams as necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should bring the following qualifications and skills:

• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and modern verification libraries like UVM.
• Background in computing or graphics is a plus.
• Experience with OpenGL/OpenCL/D3D programming is also advantageous.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
