Join the Emulation and Prototyping Methodology team at AMD to work on advanced hardware and software tools that enhance RTL validation and optimize emulation environments. The position involves collaboration with global teams to accelerate product readiness for both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.

Responsibilities
- Implement methodologies that optimize emulation and prototyping to support efficient time-to-market objectives.
- Resolve technical challenges related to infrastructure, design implementation, firmware, and software workloads.
- Research and integrate new technologies to enhance pre-silicon validation efficiency.
- Define, qualify, and deploy platforms in collaboration with vendors to meet performance metrics.
- Integrate verification interfaces such as PCIe, UART, JTAG, and Ethernet.
- Deploy ML/AI applications to scale emulation workflows.
- Incorporate advanced technologies with EDA vendors into development processes.
Requirements
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with emulation/prototyping technologies (e.g., Veloce, Palladium).
- Understanding of CPU/GPU architecture and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, C++, Perl, or Python.
- Familiarity with transactors and C-DPI methodology for emulation.
- Experience with waveform analyzers and debugging solutions.
- Knowledge of hybrid emulation technologies.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
