Senior DFT Consultant (Tessent)
Role Summary
The Design for Test Consultant will support the use of Tessent DFT software in designing complex ASIC products as part of a collaborative team. The primary mission is to implement and verify DFT features and enable users to utilize advanced methodologies associated with the Tessent tool suite.
Experience Level
Mid-level, with relevant experience in ASIC design and DFT methodologies.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering consulting services for a range of DFT activities.
- Implementing and deploying DFT flows centered around the Tessent tool.
- Enabling customer adoption of Tessent software capabilities and methodologies.
- Communicating how Siemens products meet technical objectives.
- Articulating customer requirements and influencing product direction.
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Collaborating with team members for mutual success.
- Delivering solutions based on customer needs.
- Occasional travel to customer sites, primarily within Europe.
Requirements
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- BSEE or BSCS required; MSEE preferred.
- Experience in ASIC Design for Test.
- Familiarity with MBIST, IJTAG, Boundary Scan, Scan, ATPG, Embedded Compression.
- Understanding of ASIC design and design flow automation in the Tessent Shell environment.
- Skills in tcl scripting and DFT architecture development.
- Strong communication skills; self-motivated and disciplined.
Education Requirements
BSEE or BSCS required; MSEE preferred.
