Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to define verification conditions for new features.
  • Create and document test plans while considering hardware interactions.
  • Estimate timelines for developing feature tests and coordinate necessary environment adjustments.
  • Develop directed and random verification tests.
  • Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with involved parties to rectify defects.
  • Evaluate functional and code coverage metrics; adapt or introduce tests as necessary to meet coverage criteria.
  • Mentor junior engineers in their development.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a background in digital design verification, with solid expertise in System Verilog and UVM, and familiarity with Verilog. The ideal applicant will have experience both maintaining and creating verification environments. Proficiency in using functional verification tools such as VCS is preferred. Understanding of computer architectures, cache coherency, and scripting in languages such as Perl and Shell is essential.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
