Senior Applications Engineer

Role Summary

As a Senior Applications Engineer at Synopsys, you will play a vital role in deploying and evaluating the company’s emulation solutions. Your mission will involve resolving complex technical issues for customers related to ASIC and SoC designs, while ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

This position is suited for mid-career professionals with substantial experience in IC design, verification, emulation, or FPGA prototyping. A background in ASIC design verification methodologies and expertise in hardware description languages (HDL) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and evaluate Synopsys' emulation solutions to align with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to address complex technical issues effectively.
• Provide ongoing pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop technical documentation to aid in product adoption.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and R&D teams on customer needs and product improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest verification methodologies and tools from Synopsys.

Requirements

• Experience in IC design, verification, emulation, or FPGA prototyping.
• Strong understanding of ASIC design verification methodologies.
• Proficiency in Verilog and VHDL, as well as familiarity with SystemVerilog and C/C++.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Education Requirements

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant professional experience in the industry.
