Role Summary
As a Silicon Design Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, you will focus on the micro-architecture and design of data fabric IP RTL components. Your efforts will directly contribute to cutting-edge designs that cater to the needs of next-generation computing, while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure successful silicon outcomes.

This position is tailored for mid-career professionals who possess a solid foundation in RTL design, preferably with experience in silicon design and verification processes.
Responsibilities
As an RTL/IP Design Lead, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Defining the features and capabilities of Data Fabric to meet SoC requirements.
- Implementing digital designs and micro-architecture for components of the Infinity Data Fabric.
- Leading design initiatives within one or more specific domains.
- Engaging with architects and design leads to solve complex technical issues.
- Collaborating closely with verification teams to ensure the quality of component development.
- Coordinating with physical design teams to meet performance, power, and area (PPA) targets.
- Providing post-silicon support for successful integration and bring-up of designs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of fabric/transport architecture and coherency principles.
- Experience in memory design and cache architectures.
- Proficient in RTL coding with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
