RTL Design & Verification Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for an RTL Design and Verification Engineer, responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of advanced electronic designs. The role will involve both the verification of designs and the design process itself, focusing on high-quality and efficient verification strategies.

Experience Level

The ideal candidate should possess mid-career experience in RTL design and verification, with a strong background in both theoretical and practical aspects of engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for RTL designs to ensure functional correctness.
• Collaborate with design engineers to create effective testing strategies.
• Perform simulations and analyze results to identify potential issues in design and verification.
• Enhance and maintain verification methodologies and tools.
• Document findings and resolutions clearly for future reference and improvements.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should have significant experience with hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL, as well as familiarity with various simulation tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with effective communication skills to work in a collaborative engineering environment.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications will be considered a plus.
