Role Overview
The RTL Design Engineer will be part of the Design and RTL Methodology team, playing a critical role in developing high-quality RTL designs for AMD’s next-generation FPGA products. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring excellence in RTL design and verification processes.

Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Guiding team members through the RTL design and static verification tools, enhancing the methodology ecosystem.
- Collaborating with the design team to improve front-end methodologies, focusing on ensuring top-quality RTL through areas like Lint, CDC, formal equivalence, and low-power verification.
- Enhancing and developing analysis flows for RTL and UPF files, ensuring robust power-domain crossing verification for AMD’s FPGA-SoC product families.
- Leveraging corporate AI systems to improve productivity and streamline development workflows.
Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in logic design and static verification, with familiarity in SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
- Strong background in RTL/logic design, specifically in multi-power-domain architectures as per IEEE 1801 Unified Power Format (UPF).
- Programming proficiency in languages such as Perl, Python, and TCL.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required, while a Master's degree is preferred.
