Role Summary
As an Interconnect RTL Design Engineer, you will work on next-generation interconnects targeted at high-end mobile, automotive, networking, and enterprise markets. Your role will involve specification, microarchitecture, and RTL design to create high-performance, energy-efficient interconnects, focusing on functional safety aspects.
Experience Level
4-8 years of experience in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
- Understanding specifications and requirements of functional units of interconnect products.
- Defining micro-architecture for units and developing Verilog RTL logic design.
- Implementing power aware design methodologies and analyzing results from tools.
- Collaborating with the verification team on test plan development and achieving verification closure.
- Analyzing synthesis/timing reports and addressing critical areas to meet performance goals.
Requirements
You will need the following qualifications:
- BS/MS in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
- Experience in all stages of the design cycle including concept, specification, implementation, and verification.
- Proficiency in System Verilog RTL design and design synthesis.
- Experience with lint/CDC/RDC, SVA, and formal tools for protocol properties.
- Familiarity with synthesis/STA tools and effective debugging methods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Education Requirements
BS/MS in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
