Role Overview

Join a leading semiconductor company focused on advancing chip design and verification technologies. As a Senior Engineer within the R&D Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and verifying advanced RTL for next-generation Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) IPs.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will leverage their expertise in RTL design and verification to enhance the functionality and performance of innovative 3D-IC projects. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers.

Experience Level

Mid-Career. Candidates should have substantial hands-on experience in RTL design and verification, with a proven track record of delivering robust engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and verify RTL for advanced SLM IPs, focusing on performance and reliability.
  • Create and implement comprehensive test cases to validate product functionality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to SLM and 3D-IC technologies.
  • Contribute to refining verification methodologies and automating testing processes.
  • Document design specifications and verification outcomes for clarity and replicability.
  • Participate in code reviews to promote continuous improvement and innovation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in RTL design and verification, showcasing relevant technical skills.
  • Proficiency in EDA tools and coding languages (e.g., Verilog, System Verilog, TCL).
  • Experience in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Strong debugging capabilities and problem-solving skills within complex chip design scenarios.
  • Excellent communication abilities in English, with the capacity to work effectively in teams.
  • Familiarity with digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of 3D-IC standards is desirable.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BS) or Master’s degree (MS) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
