Role Summary

The RFIC Design Intern will be responsible for the design, simulation, and implementation of RFIC building blocks targeted at wireless connectivity applications. This role will involve collaboration with the system team on architecture design and block specifications specific to RF transmitters, with subsequent evaluation of designs in the laboratory and support for mass production.

Experience Level

This position is suitable for interns with a focus on gaining hands-on experience in RFIC design while pursuing advanced degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate RFIC components for various applications, particularly in wireless connectivity.
  • Collaborate with the architecture team to define specifications and design requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must be currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field. A strong academic record, particularly in RFIC design and related topics, is required. Familiarity with IC layout principles and programming skills, particularly in Python or MATLAB, is a plus. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Education Requirements

Current enrollment in a Master's or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
