Role Summary

As an R&D Staff Engineer on the CAD team, you will focus on designing and developing software tools for integrated circuit (IC) design, contributing to high-performance silicon chip projects, and collaborating with a global design team to troubleshoot design issues.

Experience Level

This position is ideal for engineers with 4+ years of experience in layout design and CAD within the electronic engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, or debug software tools for integrated circuits.
• Support a global design team in debugging flow and resolving design issues.
• Develop routines and utility programs specific to IC design.
• Produce technical documentation to support tools and solutions.
• Integrate new technologies into existing design processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering.
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience in layout design and CAD systems.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux and a programming language.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
