Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement signal processing algorithms for FPGA or ASIC systems.
  • Utilize Simulink for modeling and simulating DSP systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for testing and validating DSP algorithms.
  • Optimize FPGA implementations regarding performance, power, and size.
  • Conduct system-level analysis to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s technical roadmap.
  • Integrate signal processing solutions into larger systems in collaboration with other engineers.
  • Stay informed about advancements in FPGA technologies and signal processing methodologies.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM field with minimum 5 years of experience or 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. government issued secret security clearance.
  • Expertise in Simulink/MATLAB for modeling DSP systems.
  • Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog for FPGA/ASIC designs.
  • Experience with signal processing applications and relevant algorithms, such as filtering and spectral analysis.
  • Familiarity with FPGA platforms (e.g., Xilinx, Altera) and their toolchains.
  • Strong debugging skills for FPGA/ASIC and DSP systems.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
