Role Summary

Member of the Applications Engineering team supporting customers in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The role focuses on enabling successful customer deployment and use of Synopsys tools through technical support, demonstrations, and collaboration with product and engineering teams.

Primary mission: accelerate product adoption and resolve customer technical issues to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Lead technical engagements and provide hands-on customer support for Synopsys products.
• Diagnose, reproduce, and resolve complex technical issues and communicate findings to engineering.
• Create demos, reference flows, and application notes to accelerate customer adoption.
• Collaborate with product management and R&D to relay customer requirements and suggest product improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices within the team.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications:

• Must-have: Proven experience in applications engineering, field applications, or a related customer-facing technical role; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must-have: Experience working directly with customers to diagnose issues and deliver technical solutions.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with EDA tools, ASIC/SoC design flows, or scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl).
• Nice-to-have: Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams on complex customer issues.
