Role Summary
We are seeking a design verification engineer to join our team at AMD. In this role, you will contribute to the development and improvement of AMD's technologies. The position involves working collaboratively to drive innovation and support continuous technical development.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tests for functional verification and performance verification at the core level.
- Build testbench components to support the next generation IP.
- Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing.
- Create hardware emulation builds to verify IP functional performance.
- Maintain and enhance the current hardware emulation environment to improve runtime performance and debugging capabilities.
- Provide technical support to other teams.
Requirements
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog, Python, and Shell scripts.
- Understanding of PPA trade-offs, dynamic and leakage power dissipation, and low-power design techniques.
- Knowledge of CPU (datapath, cache), GPU (SIMD, Vector Engine), IO (DMA), and general computer system architecture.
- Experience with EDA power simulation tools like VCS-NLP simulations, Primetime PX, or Power Artist.
- Familiarity with UVM-based verification environments and power/performance test scenarios.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
