Physical Design Power Optimization Engineer
Role Summary
NVIDIA is seeking a Physical Design Power Optimization Engineer to join the Networking Silicon Power engineering team. The role focuses on optimizing physical designs for high-speed communication devices to achieve superior performance in power efficiency, throughput, and latency.
Experience Level
Mid-level with 2+ years of experience in physical design and power optimization.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Power optimization of physical design at block and top-level under constraints.
- Involvement in RTL-to-GDS design processes including synthesis, clock distribution, place and route, timing closure, and noise fixes.
- Conducting power estimation and modeling.
Requirements
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in physical design and/or power optimization.
- Familiarity with physical design EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence).
- Knowledge of physical design methodologies is advantageous.
- Experience in front-end design is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
