Responsibilities
The intern will take on the following tasks:
- Perform package design for a flip chip package using an existing netlist.
- Extract package equivalent models using 3D EM simulation tools.
- Collaborate with the PKG Layout Design team to optimize electrical performance.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and microwave theory.
- Understanding of transmission line theory and EM field propagation.
- Familiarity with frequency and time domain signal analysis.
- Basic layout knowledge for PCB and semiconductor design.
- Understanding of Signal & Power Integrity concepts is preferred.
- Practical experience with PCB routing is a plus.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation EDA software is a plus.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Good teamwork abilities and proficiency in English.
