Role Summary
This position involves researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The MTS Silicon Design Engineer will oversee ASIC development, including aspects of architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.

Responsibilities
- Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC development.
- Determine architecture design, logic design, and conduct system simulation.
- Lead the development of complex integrated circuits.
- Evaluate process flow from high-level designs to synthesis, place and route, and assess timing and power use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Drive significant technical projects with independent judgment on methods and evaluation criteria.
- Apply engineering principles and best practices to product development and testing.
Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field required. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with five years of progressive experience is acceptable.

Master’s degree required, or Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience.
Qualifications
Three years of experience in the following:
- IP-level ASIC verification and SOC verification.
- Debugging firmware and RTL code.
- UVM testbenches experience.
- Working knowledge of Linux or Windows environments.
- Verilog or SystemVerilog proficiency.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Perl, Ruby, Makefile, or shell.
- Knowledge in design flows and methodologies for chip verification.
- Experience in functional verification of microprocessors and hardware verification.
