Modeling Engineer

Role Summary

The Architecture and Technology Group (ATG) at ARM is focused on developing technologies and products for ARM’s future architecture. The modeling team conducts architecture evaluations to assess key features in terms of performance and functionality.

Experience Level

3-5 years of hands-on experience in CPU/system IP/SoC modeling and/or performance analysis.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:
• Evaluate modeling technologies and build models for architecture feature evaluation.
• Conduct architecture investigations and performance studies.
• Collaborate with senior architects to develop functional and performance models to define the next-generation architecture features.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Reasonable knowledge and experience in computer architecture.
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
• Strong desire to learn quickly.

Education Requirements

A degree in a relevant field related to computer science or engineering is preferred.
