Mixed Signal Engineer Intern

Role Summary

The Mixed Signal Engineer Intern will collaborate closely with senior circuit designers on the Mixed Signal team. The primary focus will be on the design, validation, and characterization of mixed signal and analog IP blocks for System on Chip (SOC) applications.

Experience Level

This position is geared towards students or recent graduates pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, including those with prior internship experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Assisting senior designers in the design and validation of analog IP blocks, such as PLLs, DLLs, SERDES, and data converters for sub-14nm technologies.
• Participating in the characterization and testing processes of mixed signal components.
• Conducting research and analysis on new circuit designs and technologies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Strong foundation in analog integrated circuit design.
• Good knowledge of digital logic design including Verilog coding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Lab skills and knowledge of signal integrity are considered a plus.
