Role Overview

The Mixed Signal AMS Co-Simulation Verification Engineer is responsible for ensuring the verification and quality assurance of SERDES IP within cutting-edge system-on-chip (SoC) designs. The role requires a blend of analog and digital design expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges.

This position is suitable for both new graduates eager to learn and experienced engineers looking to deepen their expertise in high-speed SERDES and mixed-signal verification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement verification test plans for ensuring robust coverage and quality of SERDES IP.
  • Develop and maintain UVM-based System Verilog testbenches and AMS co-simulation environments.
  • Conduct functional verification of SERDES blocks, focusing on TX/RX data paths and analog/digital interactions.
  • Debug simulation failures and perform root-cause analysis in mixed-signal domains.
  • Execute design reliability assessments including electromigration and device-level stress evaluations.
  • Work closely with mixed-signal designers and system architects to deliver high-quality IP solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred for new graduates).
  • Foundational understanding of analog circuits such as op-amps, PLLs, and ADCs.
  • Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog and familiarity with AMS concepts.
  • Experience with AMS tools and scripting languages, particularly for senior candidates.
  • Ability to define robust verification strategies and mentor junior engineers.
