Role Summary

As a Layout Design Engineer for Micron, you will work with innovative design teams to develop advanced DRAM and emerging memory products.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with a minimum of 5 years in layout design.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Design high-density memory chips with advanced functionality.
• Implement layout and evaluate designs at chip or block level.
• Collaborate with global teams and apply layout methodologies for DRAM products.
• Lead engineers to deliver high-quality products while mentoring junior engineers.
• Ensure reliability, area, and timing requirements in DRAM block-level layouts.

Requirements

Successful candidates should possess:

• Basic CMOS circuit design knowledge.
• Strong fundamentals in high-performance techniques.
• Skills in debugging, problem-solving, and tools like Cadence Virtuoso Suite.
• Effective communication and leadership experience.

Education Requirements

BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
