Lead EW Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a Lead EW Software Engineer to work in Arlington, VA. This role involves leading a team of engineers and scientists in the development of Electronic Warfare and RF sensor technologies.

Role Summary

The Lead EW Embedded Software Engineer will act as a senior technical contributor, driving projects and mentoring less experienced team members while managing resources and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Continue to develop embedded software for Electronic Warfare.
• Lead design, development, implementation, and testing of applications and prototype systems.
• Collaborate with a broader team to plan and achieve program goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead strategic objectives across multiple programs.
• Participate in laboratory and field tests and lead successful execution of field events.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required.
• MS with 7+ years or BS with 10+ years of experience in relevant fields such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience leading a technical team and developing customer proposals.
• High proficiency in C/C++ and Python/MATLAB, as well as embedded applications.
• Knowledge in digital signal processing and experience with FPGA development using VHDL/Verilog.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel for field events.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree with additional years of experience.
