Junior Test Engineer

Role Overview

The Junior Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of new product introductions through characterization, qualification, and production testing. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective testing methods for integrated circuits using Automatic Test Equipment. The engineer will prepare and complete the specifications and procedures for new products and plan the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing.

Experience Level

This position is suitable for entry-level candidates or those with limited relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop test fixtures and equipment for integrated circuits.
• Implement diagnostic programs and oversee qualification and production tests.
• Collect and analyze data to improve testing and manufacturing processes.
• Plan testing schedules and labor requirements for characterization and qualification of devices.
• Review and modify processing techniques and methods to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have a basic understanding of integrated circuits and testing methodologies, along with problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.

Education Requirements

A degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or electronic engineering, is required for this position.
