Role Summary
The JRM Engineer in Lithography plays a critical role in managing and optimizing lithography jobs integral to the semiconductor manufacturing process. You will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of scanner and stepper jobs within the 8-inch production organization at NXP Semiconductors. This includes ensuring precise wafer exposure through effective job control, which governs a multitude of processes and layers for chip production.
Experience Level
Candidates should possess between 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a technical role related to semiconductor manufacturing or process engineering.
Responsibilities
Key duties include:
- Maintaining and updating production procedures to meet safety and quality standards.
- Connecting proactively with manufacturing teams to communicate improvement ideas based on technical insights.
- Coordinating quality escalations and resolving production obstacles.
- Managing the availability and integrity of tools necessary for production processes.
- Participating in improvement projects utilizing technical knowledge.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- MBO technical education at WEB 4 level in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or laboratory technology.
- Experience with ASML scanner jobs and lithography technologies.
- A solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and the ability to create and support automation scripts.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with strong communication and analytical skills.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required along with appropriate professional experience in semiconductor processes and operations.
