Role Summary

As an IP Verification Lead at AMD in Bangalore, India, you will collaborate with senior engineers to develop and execute verification plans and test cases for next-generation technology. This role demands proficiency in programming and an understanding of hardware verification methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to build performance verification test plans and simulation test cases.
• Write scripts for managing compute resources utilizing Perl and Python.
• Conduct regression testing using Perl, Python, and MySQL to support project development.
• Assess new tools and processes to enhance simulation performance and team efficiency.
• Debug and improve test cases/models in Verilog and System Verilog.
• Construct test platforms and conduct system-level testing.
• Perform validation tasks to ensure functional integrity in hardware-software integration.
• Utilize software tools for low-level testing and debugging technical issues.

Requirements

Candidate should be enrolled in a Master's program specializing in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Perl, and familiarity with Verilog and System Verilog is essential. A solid understanding of digital systems, logic design, and hardware-software integration processes is also required, along with basic knowledge of working in Linux/Unix/Windows environments.

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
