IP Logic Design Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an IP Logic Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and verifying complex digital hardware specifically for a novel AI accelerator within Intel. This position focuses on optimizing Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) for System-on-Chips (SoCs) while collaborating globally to ensure seamless integration of IP.

Experience Level

This is a mid-career position requiring relevant experience in logic design, microarchitecture, and RTL coding with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing complex digital hardware (RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog).
• Optimizing Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) for System-on-Chips.
• Collaborating with global teams to ensure high-quality IP integration.
• Engaging in post-silicon validation throughout the silicon development lifecycle.
• Utilizing strong skills in microarchitecture, scripting, and verification for high-speed chip development.

Requirements

Applicants must have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with a solid understanding of processor architecture and digital systems. Excellent written communication skills and technical documentation abilities are essential.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
