Role Summary
As an IP Design Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, you will focus on planning, building, and executing the RTL design work for new and existing features for AMD’s MMHUB IP, aiming for a bug-free final design.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, hardware/DV engineers, and firmware engineers to understand the new features to be designed.
- Build design MAS documentation, accounting for interactions with other features, the hardware, firmware, and software driver use cases.
- Estimate the time required to write new feature RTL and any required changes to the RTL codes.
- Work with DV engineer to debug test failures to determine the root cause; collaborate with firmware engineers to resolve design defects and correct any test issues.
- Review functional and code coverage metrics, assisting the DV team to modify or add tests as needed.
Requirements
Proficient in IP level ASIC design work and RTL code debugging with experience in Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++. Knowledge in using UVM testbenches and working in Linux and Windows environments is preferred.
Education Requirements
Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
