Intern- Analog Design (Graduating from Year 2027)

Role Summary

The intern will develop, qualify, validate, and support the design of next-generation IC products, focusing on applications like Opamp and isolation chips. The role involves collaborating with various teams in the design and testing process.

Experience Level

Internship position; must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program and expected to graduate in 2027.

Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for:

  • Designing, debugging, and testing new products while supporting existing products.
  • Utilizing design tools to design and verify analog circuits.
  • Collaborating with back-end designers for effective implementation of analog designs into layout and conducting post-layout simulations.
  • Working with testing engineers in the lab for chip debugging and customer support.
  • Documenting block-level design specifications and design guidelines.
  • Proving design accuracy in accordance with chip specifications through simulations and checklists.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • MSEE or equivalent with coursework in analog electronics.
  • Strong fundamentals in analog IC design.
  • Understanding of basic electronic circuits (e.g., amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC).
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, MATLAB).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities; teamwork is essential.
  • Previous lab experience with circuit testing is a plus.
  • Must be available for full-time work for at least 4 months, 5 days a week.
  • Must not graduate before April 2027.

Education Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in electronics or a related field.
