Role Overview

The Infinity Fabric Verification Engineer will be responsible for verifying configurable switches and interconnects within AMD’s Infinity Fabric network, which plays a crucial role in all new product developments across various markets, including AI, client, server, graphics, and semi-custom projects.

Experience Level

This position requires candidates with 7-12 years of industry experience, particularly in complex design verification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve SystemVerilog / UVM testbenches for new features in client, server, graphics, and semi-custom products.
  • Create and enhance Bus Functional Models (BFM) and Universal Verification Components (UVC) for AMD protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and hardware engineers, and coordinate with multiple IP development teams.
  • Engage with RTL designers and performance engineers to gain a thorough understanding of the Infinity Fabric architecture.
  • Serve as a mentor for junior engineers, guiding them in verification practices.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in architecting complex verification environments using SystemVerilog or C++.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, or Make.
  • Demonstrated experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in verification tasks.
  • Exposure to RTL design practices, software development, or formal verification domains is advantageous.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
