IC Practical Engineer

Role Summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Lab Practical Engineer for its IC product engineering group. The role involves performing various types of testing on NVIDIA/Mellanox ICs as part of design and production validation, IC characterization, and reliability activities in NVIDIA R&D labs located in Yokneam.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Electronic Practical Engineering.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Handling various types of testing of Nvidia ICs.
  • Perform IC testing to produce reliable data supporting IC device analysis.
  • Maintaining and operating laboratory equipment such as IC evaluation systems, HTOL systems, Scopes, DVMs, and other tools.
  • Reading schematics of electronic circuits.
  • Support activities such as IQC, OQC, IC inventory management, and shipments.
  • Carrying out Q&R tasks following strict methodologies.
  • Ensuring adherence to strict safety procedures and checks.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of Electronic Practical Engineer experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in operating laboratory equipment such as Scopes and DVM.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable individual.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Basic knowledge of Networking, computers, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge in software programming (C++, Perl, Linux, Python).
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to execute tasks with integrity and quality.

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

  • Knowledge in ATE, SVB, and SLT operations.
  • Understanding of electronic circuits and automated test equipment.

Education Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
