Hardware Validation Internship

Role Summary

This internship offers a chance to engage deeply with hardware validation in the context of high-performance silicon chip technology. The role is based in Lagoas Park, Oeiras (Lisbon), Portugal, and is intended for a full-time commitment over six months starting in April or May.

Experience Level

We are seeking candidates who are currently pursuing a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Previous experience in lab environments is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

The intern will:

• Plan and execute system-level testing for PCIe6 and PCIe7 protocols, reproducing and debugging customer issues related to SNPS PHY.
• Develop and maintain Python-based test scripts to automate validation processes.
• Utilize lab instrumentation for conducting hands-on experiments and gathering critical data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to report findings and contribute to customer satisfaction solutions.
• Engage in creative problem-solving by exploring new approaches to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

Applicants should possess strong programming skills in Python and demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills and an eagerness to learn are essential to successfully collaborate within teams.

Education Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
