Hardware Design Intern

Role Summary

The Hardware Design Intern will be involved in executing tests and validation activities for board and chip-level silicon validation, working closely with validation leads at Marvell Technology. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and contribute to real projects that influence Marvell’s product and R&D roadmap.

Experience Level

Internship, ideally for students in their 3rd year or recent graduates.

Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for:

• Executing validation activities based on available test plans for high-speed analog and mixed signal components.
• Implementing test bench automation under the guidance of validation leads.
• Developing device controlling software using programming languages such as Python or C/C++.
• Performing data analysis and preparing silicon test reports.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

• Enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related fields.
• Knowledge of analog/digital circuit and data communication systems.
• Programming skills in Python (preferred) or C/C++.
• Analytical skills and logical thinking.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Commitment to problem solving and project execution.
• Familiarity with lab instruments like DSO, SSA, VNA is a plus (nice-to-have).

Education Requirements

Minimum of 3rd year in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or recent graduate expected to graduate in 2026.
