Role Overview

The position involves working within Apple’s Silicon Technologies group as a Graphics Design Verification Engineer to support the pre-silicon RTL verification of low power embedded graphics cores. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and efficiency of Apple's products.

Experience Level

This role is targeted at candidates with a strong foundation in computer architecture and verification methodologies. Familiarity with graphics is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

The Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Performing top-level verification for logic blocks in GPU designs.
  • Executing and reporting on test plan items.
  • Porting legacy testbench components using System Verilog and UVM.
  • Developing top-level tests to validate chip level features.
  • Maintaining and modifying test benches and BFMs.
  • Implementing stimulus and analyzing coverage.
  • Debugging simulation and silicon GPU failures.
  • Collaborating closely with design and micro-architecture teams.
  • Developing scripts for software engineering flows.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

  • A BS degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming languages.
  • Programming proficiency in C or C++.
  • Experience with Verilog or other hardware description languages.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
