Role Overview
The position involves working within Apple’s Silicon Technologies group as a Graphics Design Verification Engineer to support the pre-silicon RTL verification of low power embedded graphics cores. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and efficiency of Apple's products.
Experience Level
This role is targeted at candidates with a strong foundation in computer architecture and verification methodologies. Familiarity with graphics is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
The Engineer will be responsible for:
- Performing top-level verification for logic blocks in GPU designs.
- Executing and reporting on test plan items.
- Porting legacy testbench components using System Verilog and UVM.
- Developing top-level tests to validate chip level features.
- Maintaining and modifying test benches and BFMs.
- Implementing stimulus and analyzing coverage.
- Debugging simulation and silicon GPU failures.
- Collaborating closely with design and micro-architecture teams.
- Developing scripts for software engineering flows.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- A BS degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming languages.
- Programming proficiency in C or C++.
- Experience with Verilog or other hardware description languages.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
