Role Summary
The Graduate Trainee - Silicon Design Engineer role is aimed at highly motivated individuals ready to engage in the design, build, and delivery of AMD’s advanced products. Responsibilities
As a Silicon Design Engineering Graduate Trainee, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with team members to clarify tasks necessary for project delivery.
- Interpreting architecture specifications and completing tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Engaging in RTL design utilizing Verilog.
- Developing scripts to enhance efficiency in task execution.
- Completing documentation analysis, RTL coding, and preparing for RTL delivery, including static checks.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should possess:
- Strong knowledge of design flows and verification processes.
- Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog.
- Experience with TCL, shell, Perl, or Python programming.
- Ability to diagnose and propose solutions for design and testing errors.
- Familiarity with high-speed protocols such as PCIe is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to managing tasks effectively and on schedule.
Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
