Role Summary

This role involves ensuring power efficiency in System-on-Chips (SoCs) across various sectors, including IoT, mobile devices, automotive systems, and AI applications. The engineer will focus on low-power design and architecture throughout the SoC design and production lifecycle.

Experience Level

Entry-level; recent graduates or students pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and piloting new power analysis and modeling tools.
  • Designing and simulating workloads to assess power management strategies.
  • Developing power models for various intellectual properties.
  • Implementing accurate power models for various SoC use cases.

Requirements

Applicants should possess the following:

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or on track to complete).
  • Focus on VLSI design and interest in energy-efficient architectures.
  • Strong understanding of Computer Architecture and Machine Learning.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and Matlab.
  • Interest in simulation, emulation, and modeling.

Education Requirements

Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
