Role Summary

The Graduate GPU Hardware Design Engineer will join the GPU HW team focused on the development of advanced GPU designs. This role involves contributing to micro-architecture specifications, RTL development, and collaboration with verification teams to ensure design integrity.

Experience Level

Entry-level, suitable for recent graduates or those soon to graduate.

Responsibilities

The engineer will:

  • Build understanding of successful product delivery, including design techniques for low-power and high-speed outputs.
  • Contribute to micro-architecture specifications and develop RTL while running design checks.
  • Collaborate with the verification team to review test plans and debug design issues.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or on track to complete a degree).
  • Experience with RTL design for ASIC products and SoCs using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Knowledge of static design checks, synthesis, timing analysis, and power management techniques.
  • Understanding of computer architecture fundamentals and experience with complex SoCs.
  • Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Experience with Functional Safety concepts (e.g., ISO 26262).
  • Familiarity with verification methodologies (preferably formal verification).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements

A degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
