Role Summary

The GPU Design Verification Engineer contributes to the pre-silicon RTL verification of sub-units in the Apple GPU. This position requires a thorough understanding of micro-architectural details and their integration within the broader GPU design.

Experience Level

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is required. Previous coursework in computer architecture or computer systems is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Author test plans for block level functionality.
  • Architect and develop complex verification software components.
  • Collaborate with design team members to debug and finalize the blocks owned.
  • Work on testbenches covering a range from sub-blocks to whole subsystems.

Requirements

  • Experience with Hardware Description languages such as Verilog or System Verilog.
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming languages and data structures.
  • Strong software development skills.

Education Requirements

A BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is required, alongside relevant coursework in computer architecture.
